該作品由鑄鋁和黃銅製成，金屬枝條模擬了有機物的姿態，從中央杆向各個方向延伸，形似覆雪的樹枝。該系列作品中的其他7棵樹均有綠色針葉且具有更自然寫實的外觀，而3月樹則是這系列中非屬寫實風格的樹之一。此外，樹枝上懸掛44個大小不一、顏色各異的小飾品，樹頂上的星形裝飾是本作品的一大特色。

Artist Biography

Philippe Parreno

菲利普．帕雷諾出生於阿爾及利亞，曾就讀格勒諾布爾的美術學院以及巴黎東京宮的巴黎高級藝術研究學院，現於巴黎工作與居住。作品在巴黎龐畢杜藝術中心、日本金澤21世紀博物館、紐約現代藝術博物館、巴黎現代藝術博物館、舊金山現代藝術博物館、紐約古根海姆博物館以及倫敦泰特現代美術館及蛇形藝廊收藏與展出。
