Cedric Price: The Square Book

‍Cedric Price: The Square Book is a 2003 reissue of Cedric Price: Works II. This volume is the second installment in the Works”series by the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture. Originally published to accompany an exhibition held in June 1984 at the AA School of Architecture in London, it was curated by Alvin Boyarsky, then Chair of the AA, in honor of British architect Cedric Price (1934–2003). It documents significant projects from his practice since its founding in 1960, including conceptual and built works such as “The Fun Palace,” “Potteries Thinkbelt,” and the “Zoo Aviary” at London Zoo, alongside lesser-known proposals and writings. Both the 1984 and 2003 editions are now out of print.
