Condemned Building: An Architect’s Pre-Text compiles the conceptual architectural works by American architect Douglas Darden (1951–1996), originally published in 1993. It includes ten unbuilt theoretical projects that blend psychodramatic texts, architectural drawings, and model photographs to create rhetorical allegorical architecture. Among these are the “Museum of Impostors” and the “Clinic for Sleep Disorders.”
