Pezo Von Ellrichshausen: Exterior

Exterior a book published in the 2017 Painting Exhibition at Solo Galerie in Paris by Chile—Argentine Architect Couple Combination — Pezo Von Ellrichshausen Studio. Exterior is a series of spatial local paintings, in oil paintings larger than the body scale, evoking a spatial memory that seems to have been recognized but incomplete, and even extends the imagination to the space outside the painting.

In addition to showcasing these unique and colorful spatial paintings, the book is a far cry from the studio's previous series of panoramic perspective paintings called “Interior.” The book also includes a conversation with British architect and curator of the 2008 Venice Biennale (studio for the Chilean Museum's curatorial team) — Ellis Woodman: From Interior to Exterior, from composition, light, color, painting, and more Full talk about the relationship between architecture and painting creation. Founded nearly 20 years ago in architecture, art, curation, and education, the studio of Pézo-von Ehrickhausen has been exhibited at the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial and the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and has been awarded by The Art Institute of Chicago with the Museum of Modern Art in New York ( Major art institutions such as MoMA) have been selected as permanent collections.
